Mr Bhakta Charan Rout founded Lab Chemicals International, known as LCPL was established in the year 1975 as a Partnership Firm. He played a significant role in the restructuring the Laboratory and Chemicals Industry in eastern India.

His vision led to the genesis of a more consolidated and globalized model of Operation. It was under his able leadership  in the year 1984 that the company was registered as a Private Limited Company.

Dr. Gagan B. Rout is the Executive Director of LCPL. LCPL is what LCPL today only because of the contribution and support from its Techno-Commercial Executive Director Dr. G.B Rout. Dr. Rout has been awarded multiple times on behalf of the company for the excellent service it has been providing to its customer over the years.

Dr. Rout has also been visiting different countries over the world to attend the EXPO & conferences including ACHEMA, Germany and CHEM ASIA, Singapore etc to update on the product portfolio as well as deliver latest technology and products to the Indian market  from technological advancements in the global market.

Dr. Rout has a distinctive academic background with a Masters in Agriculture from Utkal University, India and a Master of Business Administration from California University.

Santosh Rout is Chief Executive Officer of Lab Chemicals, UK. He joined the family business and has held various finance and management roles within the company, resulting in Lab Chemicals International expansion into Europe

Prior to this, he has over 10+ years experience in the Satellite and Defence industry.

He has a Bachelor’s degree of Engineering in Telecommunications from the Utkal University, India and a Masters in Communications, Control and Digital Signal Processing (CCDSP) from the Strathclyde University in Glasgow.
